My buddy ive been helping has an 85 firebird, got a brand new motor with 88 tpi 350 on top. He was driving down the road and lost all oil pressure. we thought it was the oil pump, but it turns out to be fine, its pumping. checked the screan,shaft etc.. all checked out. Have any ideas??? Only thing that came into my head was a lifter goin out, because its tapping when u drive it. possible reason as to why its not pumping up the pressure?

It barely wants to run, and yes we did check the oil, and it was full, only thing im thinking of is a possible blown head. Any ideas, because im putting the new computer in it today, and if we have time, do the injector swap from 19 lb to 22lb since the upgrade to the 350.
