EGR solenoid vacuum line question...

I've narrowed down my engine miss down to a bad injector. but When I was checking them I noticed my plastic vacuum line from the EGR to the solenoid was off. I was going to put it back in the orfice but the line seems to be to small for the rubber elbow going into the solenoid. Is there a rubber adapter or something that is missing? There's only 2 lines that come off of the elbow(1 goes to the "t" by the throttle body. 2 goes to my EGR valve.). Both line's are the same size but the rubber elbow looks to be 2 sizes. Is my elbow bad?
I know it's a small thing. But I can't find any pics of what I'm working on. Thanks guys.

Re: EGR solenoid vacuum line question...

Nope.
Just shove it in there.
Farther down the orifice it gets smaller.
