Cam question on 1991 5.7

Hey guy's Im new here and I'm working on 3rd gen/s10v8

Here is the run down, Im throwing a 1991 firebird gta engine into a 1999 s10.

Here is the engine spec's
flat top pistons, full rebuild, long tube headers, double timing chain, holly 650 cfm double pump, and holley street dominator intake manifold. Oh yes I converted it to carb. Just to make my life easier.

My question is I ordered a cam which is .465/.488 lift. with flat tapped lifters. So I would have to take the rollers out, and put all the other stuff for a sbc in it. I just want to know if the cam I have is worth it? Or stay stock

I wanted to know does anyone know what the specifications are on a stock gta cam?

Re: Cam question on 1991 5.7

whats the specs on the new cam and using stock heads? what power goals do you have?

I'd keep roller cam just since its already roller. stock L98 cams and the higher end LB9 305 TPI roller cams are somewhere around 207/213 with .415/.430 lift on a 115 or 117 lsa i cant remember. Not a bad cam, could use 1.6-1.65 rockers to bring lift up alittle. Good enough cam for 260 whp or so on stock heads.
