Are there any companies that sell a bolt on package for the L98? Like a matched cam, heads, induction, etc that is proven to add x amount of hp.

In the past I've just dropped in a crate engine to upgrade power, but this is my first TPI engine and it seems like a whole different and expensive game. The only thing I'm sure of right now is this stock L98 is to slow for my liking!

 

no not really.... but alot of people with tpi SDPC setup which uses the vortec head, vortec lower tpi intake, slp or edelbrock runners and a zz4 or lt4 hotcam combo.... they say that combo is good for 350 horsepower at the motor... the vortec heads are cheap and so is the hotcam...... that should give you a big increase over stock... i was going to go that route but i wanted to get afr 180s instead of the vortecs..... they say afrs are the best heads for the sbc..... the hotcam is a very nice game for upgraded tpi's... tpi isnt really a horsepower kinda intake.... its very torquey and its excellent for short races or stop light to stop light races and makes for a very fun daily driver.....
