recent dyno.. these numbers seem right??
It's a basically stock 1988 L98 with some minor PROM tuning, 24LB injectors and an AFPR set to 43 PSI. SLP 1 3/4" headers, high flow cat, and Magnaflow cat back. Also have a T56 going through a Dana 44 with 4.10s
My HP seems pretty much on, with a peak of 221 HP around 3600 RPM and falling right after.. by 4830 ( the graph is scaled weird ) it was down to 192.
I had them only bring it up to 5000 since TPI isn't know for going much past that anyway in stock form.
My TQ numbers are what seem off to me. 376 Ft Lbs of torque at 2500 RPM and staying "flat" until 2750 lol, it's a ski slope from there.
3300 - 340 TQ
3750 - 310
4200 - 270
4650 - 230
To me the "curve" seems probably right, just the numbers seem too high.
Best it's managed at the track is a 1.86 60 ft, 14.3 @ 93 MPH
which seems accurate with the HP numbers.
My friend dynoed his 89 L98 car with a T56 and had more hp.. like 255 and 370 TQ
