Setting Idle issues
Ok well, my car has been idling way too high, around 1k. I have tried to reset the idle the way it tells me in my Chiltons book. Get it right when the IAC unplugged. After I restart the car with the IAC plugged back it, it still idles at 1k. Will having my TPS not set right make my idle like that?

It could.
Is your IAC fully closed and then unplugged before you adjust the manual idle?
The TPS will have to be adjusted after you get your idle set.
