V6 Injectors

Do they ohm out the same as the V8 injectors? I know they flow less but is that done through a different pulse or a totally different injector? I need to check my injectors today and I can't find spec's for the v6 injectors anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

your v6 has 6 19lb injectors.. They should ohm at 16 and I would replace them with Bosch 3's from FIC. www.fuelinjectorconnection.com

Re: V6 Injectors

thanks irocuroc, exactly what i needed

if they end up being bad (picking up a multimeter after getting paid tommorow) I'll definitely get some bosch's if they're anywhere even close to the same money as direct replacements. if they're alot more pricey it'll be tough for me to put more money than i need to into a motor i'm not happy with in the car anyways.

the only reason i haven't tried to swap a motor is because i live in apartments. i plan on getting a house next year and then................

Your '92 RS 3.1l injectors are about 16.5#/hr. They need to measure above 12 ohms each when hot. Any lower then that are shot.

To be honest, if they are the original Multecs, just remove them and toss 'em in the trash can. Then hit up either FIC or LinderTech for replacements in Bosch.

RBob.

Re: V6 Injectors

for a V-8 for about what 2 stock replacement injectors cost, you can get a
full set of the remaned bosch 3 injectors.
check out FICs' E-bay store too.
