building 383 with stock tpi.. Head cam choice help
Wondering if anyone has kept the stock intake setup as i dont have enough cash right nw to upgrade it. I just dont know what heads and cam i could go with. i would like to pretty much get the MAX power i can get out of it. A lt1 intake will be in the works as soon as I get a little xtra money. Also what size injectors wuld you run
I would like 400hp and close to 500ft lbs only reson I dont wanan wait till i can get the intake is because i blew my motor and have to get this done now

I knew I had remembered reading that some time ago.. I just reread that whole article and couldnt did see any specifics on the heads. It just says they used trick flow heads???
im guessing maybe these?
http://www.trickflow.com/partdetail....4&autoview=sku

Doesn't say they are anything special ; could be the regular 195's for $1000

They worked well on my 383 with both TPI ( rev limited obviously ) and HSR
