Head/Cam help

Okay, so I'm looking at upgrading the 350 TPI in my cousin's car. Nothing serious; just a decent street piece.

It already has Hooker headers installed, a Holley Stealth Ram came with the purchase of the car, and we have Bosch 22lb injectors ready to be installed, as well.

Now I'm looking at heads and camshafts. I have a few questions, though:

Can LSx springs fit in the L98 head seats and retainers? I have stock ones out of my LS2 GTO if they do.

What is the max lift on the heads before the rocker studs start blowing out? We plan on going with 113 heads, but money for those heads all depends on what direction we go with the camshaft.

We plan on looking at the ZZ4 cam, Comp Cams 266HR-14, or the Crane 2032 camshaft. Will any of these work within the limitations of the stock L98 heads? What other camshafts do you guys recommend for a street piece?

I'm not looking for a wild set-up, but I don't want to do all this work and not notice a difference, either.

Re: Head/Cam help

Decide on heads 1st then sort cam to suit combo
No point wasting $$$ on parts now that are no use later ( better heads will allow you to run bigger cam )
