Lag from stop

A small problem, doesn't really occur unless I'm accelerating from a dead stop but I feel a lag, lasts a fraction of a second and then it feels like the car picks up right away. I suspected a vacuum leak, found and replaced a few hoses and tightened up my plenum. Sprayed carb cleaner around vacuum lines while engine idled, didn't rev up or anything. Any input is appreciated.

Also, it almost stalled when I put it into reverse and drive.

Re: Lag from stop

Well, I'm starting to wonder if it is my IAC valve or my knock sensor because twice this week my car has started up only to idle really bad until I give it some gas, then it levels out. But at a stop my car idles up and down from 500-600 RPM, unless its in neutral or park. Then its about 700 but it sounds like it trips every now and then.
