TPI cam opinion,
i recently picked up a 91 z roller, orig motor blew, the motor or shortblock on my stand ws carbed and is a pre 86 2 peice, 4 bolt main, its setup for hyd roller cam with retro fit kit, the cam thats in it is....
Cam Grind Number: 299THR7
RPM Operating Range: 2500 to 6200
Duration Advertised: Intake - 299, Exhaust - 319
Duration @ .050'': Intake - 243, Exhaust - 257
Valve Lift: Intake - .531, Exhaust - .517
Lobe Sep. Angle: 107°
my top end will consist of zz4 heads, tpis intake/runners, ill have headers good exhaust, 4.10 gears and 3k verter,
will the 107 LSA of my cam be a nightmare with the TPI or should i bite bullet tear apart perfectly good sealed motor and re-cam it with an XFI series cams?

Re: TPI cam opinion,
Anything under 110 is usually a pain to tune; 112+ is recommended

Re: TPI cam opinion,
no, id like to keep it TPI, its a beautiful well kept car, cant see cutting fuel lines or moddifying any wireing in it to make carbed, unfornuatly.. lol.. i just striped the carbed topend off last week, air gap intake, holley 750, big dart pro 1 heads, cam was next on yank list, but i have the prettiest sealed oil pan and timing cover i would just hate to to have pull UUGG!!
