Finally got my l98 running, i got some ??
So now that i got the car running with a rebuilt transmission, id like to go ahead and make a list of bolt ons i can put on the motor so I can at least keep up with my lt1 buddies lol. Now this is my first question I have a set of roller rockers and performance springs off an lt1 i have around, can I use them on the L98? Would it improve performance even with the stock cam, and I would need hardened pushrods correct? Also What is the recommended throttle body size i should use, im looking into the 52mm because im not sure if 58mm is a bit too big. And are the SLP intake parts good? And what headers do you recommend? Im looking for easy, cheap and very useful bolt ons!

The roller rockers aren't going to add worthwhile horsepower. What is your rear axle gear ratio? Some of these have a 2.77 ratio, cruise down the highway at 1500 rpm. Good for gas mileage but awful for performance. If you don't drive a lot of highway miles I'd suggest a gear change to wake up the car. Maybe a 3.55 : 1 or so. Headers and exhaust would add power. Have to watch changing throttle body or other parts that might throw the EFI out of whack. This stuff is designed to all work together and gets difficult to change parts and keep it right.
