Fuel Rail Issue
Guys - Have been chasing a cold number 8 cylinder. Done the basic checks for spark, I want to check fuel now. Has anyone seen a plugged fuel rail that would block fuel to 1 cylinder? What about checking to see if the spark plug is receiving signal from the harness wire?

Re: Fuel Rail Issue
i assume u mean injector as far as recieving a signal. i can't remember the voltage to look for as far as checking your injectors. one test you could do is start the car and then touch the injectors, you should beable to feel it pulse, then you will know its working or not working

Automotive stethoscope or a long screwdriver touched to the injector and your ear at the other end will tell you if the injector is pulsing. IIRC the voltage should be 5v.
It's unlikely but possible that the intake screen on the injector is plugged.

Re: Fuel Rail Issue
Thanks for the replies, I will try some ideas in the spring, car is in storage. Injectors are new Fords, swapped out new Accels as a possible culprit. Sad thing is that most everything on my set-up is new. Not the wiring harness though. I know new parts can be bad, I have checked a bunch of ignition parts, timing etc.
