which fuel pump?
I need to buy a new fuel pump for my 88 305 automatic. & last time it got changed, it would cach air on hard turns with low fuel. How can I prevent this from happening again? & what would be the best choice in pumps.

Re: wich fuel pump?
a/c delco pump, theres a pulsator that the pump connects to. Theres a little hose included with the pump, replace the pulsator with the hose and i recommend special fuel clamps that clamp permanently. Also when you get the strainer point it in the slump. it should help.

Re: wich fuel pump?
The pump is not why it catches air while you turn with low fuel. You need a baffled gas tank. Some f-bodies came with them. I know 1le and b4c cars did but not sure what other models did or if you can by an aftermarket stock style tank. If you keep more fuel in there it shoudn't do it, but not much you can do with the tank you have. There might be a way to mod it and add baffles but not sure. But do buy a good pump, an ac delco or bosch or gm. don't buy a cheap brand, you'll regret that.
