Re: tps problem

The best way to find out if the TPS is the culprit is to bunny some jumpers
and use a voltometer like in the TPS FAQ. Instead of just setting it and
bolting it up tight.. Carefully increase/decrease the arm on the TPS and
watch for sudden jumps or stalls in the TPS voltage reading at the meter.

If the readings are highly irregular & inconsistent, then that TPS is funky.

Since you replaced it, id check out the wiring for damage as well,
Since the code triggers upon acceleration, id want to say something
electronic might be going on the fritz

Hope you get it solved.

Code 23 is the Intake air temp (IAT) ..not TPS related. It is kind of a
pain to get to the sensor, not as easy as some of the others anyway.

So were you getting codes 22 & 23? or just 23?

Code 22 is TPS related, I didnt catch it earlier, and could have said
something earlier! ..Where did the idea about a TPS issue come from?

Hope it works out! That would be very cool.

Re: tps problem

both 22 and 23 and the error code page said it could be error from tps

but yeah that sensor isn't plugged in and the reason for the code.
