put new injectors in today all 8, car will only start if you hold throttle to floor. then once running idle at 1500 and rough....but great throttle responce.....w/ old injectors car would start with the slightest turn of key and idle, but would load car up and die after a bit... just bought 4-5 weeks ago (the car) was told it had new injectors new ecm w/chip. now when you get car started it will run about 1500 like i said but when you put in gear will die..........any thoughts would be great...thanks sorry it is a 92 5.7

 

With new injectors give us some more info,did you upgrade to larger injectors..or just replace them with better injectors with the same flow rate?

Also if throttle response is good now but wont go below 1500rpm,I suggest looking up how to adjust the throttle position sensor and adjust the mininum idle air control in the technical article area.That should get you to start the car with the key and also put it in gear and not stall out.

I just hope you didnt throw in bigger injectors and the chip is tuned for what was already there and your only bandaiding another issue.

 

car had python injectors in it i put some bosh injectors in. but i dont know any flow rate.

 

This is often called "flood mode" by some. When cranking your car, if you put the pedal to the floor, the injectors will not fire. I had to do this when my stock injectors were leaking after I turned the car off. Sounds like your getting way too much gas. I'd definitely look into the injector size or your regulator.
