Encourages me to go dyno my 210,000 L98. I still get 18mpg/ 21mpg (brand new rating was 22mpg highway, i think), 225hp/330ft lbs, it still starts on the first revolution of the crankshaft, uses NO oil and can roast my 315s......Maybe I should go after all!

Thank you for posting some dyno numbers on a close to stock L98. Do you have an upgraded exhaust or just headers?
Stock is supposed to be 245hp. I think that number is crank hp and not from a dyno? Your dyno shows us what headers alone can do for better engine performance. Figure 18% power loss on manual transmission and you have 290hp at crank. Seems like a larger than expected boost from just headers.
This summer I want to dyno my L98 with major air lid mods, FIRST intake and dual exhaust. I have stock headers so curious what numbers will be.
