Smog Pump&A.I.R Tubes
Need Help wit removing the smog pump and the A.I.R Tubes..First I was tryna repalce passenger side A.I.R pipe and one broke in the header and now just gonna remove the whole system but the EGR stuff..what do you do wit the hoses that go to the Diverter valve box..and what should I do about the A.I.R tube that block off inside the header since noway I'm gonna buy just one header..could I just throw some JB weld on it real good and hope it doesn't leak..the car is a 92 camaro 350TPI...what about a pulley for the smog pump after I remove it,part numbers would be great..would be nice to clean up the engine bay alil and read other post aboout stuff like this and so many that are conf..thanks..really need to know what should I do wit the hoses after removal of everything..what size caps should I use for the A.IR tube removal as well..

that is for the air pump removal so no pulley is necessary. As for the caps, just take off the AIR tubes and bring it to an auto parts store. They should be able to give you plugs the same size to put in the stock manifolds..... Or if you have to take off the manifold to get the one broken piece out then just bring the manifold.

That doesn't tell you how to remove the pump, it tells you how to reroute the belt. That shouldnt even be in the faq section, it doesnt help that much.
There are 2 torx bolts that hold the pump to the bracket, you need to pull the smog pump pulley in order to get to them. And that's where I am now on my a.i.r delete. I dont know how to hold the pulley in order to remove the 3 pulley bolts.

I think I got it all down now gonna hit it up in tha morning..i wanted to just leave it all on but when one of the A.I.R tubes broke in the head just gonna go ahead and rip everything out now..not tryna put alot of money & time in this car right now since I'm doing a LS1 swap in my 89 iroc this weekend...
