I am working on my first real performance project here nad need some advice on a cam to throw in my l98. I have the motor apart and want to know if it would be beneficial to throw in an lt1 cam I have access to. I have a foil, summit headers, flowtech y pipe, and then a 3 inch flowmaster out the back with no cat in it. Also have some lt1 injectors and am going to get some roller rockers and had some slightly stiffer springs in the heads. No port and polish yet but I may be getting an edelbrock intake and runners to go on top but not sure yet. Will putting the lt1 cam in there do me any good or will it cause me more problems than do me good. If not,can you guys make a good recomendation on what to throw in to give me a slightly agressive rumble at idle and be able to throw a couple bolt ons in later and still be good to go.
