I was driving my camaro last week in the highway when it overheated
so i pulled over let it cool down and drove it home when i got home it was smoking alot....then next day morning i turned it on and I heard some weird knock in the engine...I dont know whats going on and what should I do and last would it cost alot to fix it...

What would you recommend me to do and what do you think might be wrong

 

prob blew a head gasket, all that water in your oil bearings don't last long. If your oil looks like chocolate milk yup. I wouldn't run it until you know, is it a constant knock or just when you put a laod on it like spark knock. Can you see anything leaking out of the engine. Depends how your gasket blew, if your really lucky it could just be an intake gasket. Head gasket could of blown too the outside and exhaust gasses are escaping causing a popping sound like a bad exhaust manifold gasket. Where is it smoking from the exhaust or the enginie itself is smoking?

Could be a lot of stuff

 

Acutally the more gas i give the engine the more faster and faster that knock sound goes....really confused really dont know what it is ...it smells weird but there is no smoke no where....
