Any Suggestions would Help!!!!Thanks (What Engine)

Since my 350 TPI engine just got totaled I am going to be putting a new engine on my car soon i was wondering if anyone had any ideas????

What engine?
Decent HP and Decent Price cause i dont really have a fortune to spend I am looking at about 3000 at the most and that should include labor and parts...

So if you could recommend me something that would be really appreciated cause at this point I am confused about what engine i should put in my car that can produce decent HP? and doesnt cost much to do..

Thanks 3rd Gen Fans!!!

Unless your block is cracked, you should visit your local machine shop and start asking questions there... cuz typically the majority of us TGO members, when a question like this arises... if you have a 305, we say "why not go with a 350" and when the question involves a 350, we say "why not go with a 383"... ... so why not go with a 383...? ... ....

ok well... really though, if your heads are fairly new, you might be able to buy a short block 350...

I would say that's your valvetrain... could be a lose rocker... you should check that out, could be an easy inexpensive fix...
