how to jump out or test EGR
1987 Iroc z TPI 305. How do I jump out the egr or check to see if its working properly?I have a poor idle and stinky exhaust.I'm leaning at new injectors but also want to make sure EGR isn't bad.

apply & hold vacuum to the EGR, check the diaphragm it should hold on the topside
this also should change your idle.
when the Vacuum is release the diaphragm should return
you can also check if it's leaking.. using MAP gas.. it will raise your idle.. if there is a leak
