58mm TB

I have this 58mm TB but im stuck on trying to figure out how TPS is going to hook up. Also it only has two of the three needed cable linkages, I think its the cruise control that would be missing. One more thing, is the stock IAC valve going to work? Thanks for the help. 58mm TB-img_3770.jpg

That may be an LT1 58mm throttle body. If so you will have to use the LT1 IAC and TPS. Then buy the adaptor harnesses. Also you might have to get creative on the throttle cable. The one that is missing is probably for the cruise control. Another area to get creative or just sell it.

Who's TB is it?
Looks as if the accel linkage is removable so you might be able to swap out.
Proffesional Products make TB's that come with both style linkages and you fit what ever you need
Strange thing is it is early style linkage without the TV cable mount? Late style has a quadrant the cable lays in.
Any IAC housing ( and IAC ) will mount but you need a late style TPS .

Re: 58mm TB

Just looking at ;is the linkage in two seperate pieces?
The outer bracket would appear to mounted upside down which when positioned the other way up would give the accel and TV cable mounting points in the correct early style location
Accel cable at bottom ,forward of shaft center line and TV at top ,rear of center line

This bracket also came with the TB. I dont know the brand.. it came with the HSR I got off ebay. Maybe I could drill the old rivit out and use that bracket on the new TB somehow?58mm TB-img_3788.jpg

As I noted ; are the two pieces you have onthe TB now seperate pieces?
Because the outer one for the cable hookup looks upside down

Re: 58mm TB

The throttle body picture on the right is upside down. Just wondering.
