at the last F-Body Empire meeting Captain_Camaro pointed out that i was leaking coolant...
my coolant has been disappearing from the res so this explains it..
when i first got my car 3 years ago, it had a blown freeze plug.
questions:
1. How many freeze plugs are there?
2. Where are they?
3. Where can i get them?

Re: Freeze/Expansion Plug gone bad?
I'd locate where exactly the leak is coming from first, should be easy enough to find.

Re: Freeze/Expansion Plug gone bad?
word of advice never use one of the expanding rubber ones.....I used one to do a quick fix when my block heater started leaking long story short about a week later nailed it from a stop right and it shot out of there, and lost all my coolant in a matter of seconds

Re: Freeze/Expansion Plug gone bad?
They're super common - just search for freeze plugs.
Buy a kit for $8 or whatever, and some RTV (or preferably gorilla snot - ie 3m weatherstrip adhesive) and replace the one(s) that are leaking.
Enjoy - they are not easy to get to while the engine is in the car.
