Fuel issue

I have an 85 TA. Sweet car if only it would run. It is a 305 tpi all stock. Replaced the fuel pump and starter. Can get the car to almost crank over, but it wont. the only way to get it to crank over and run is with starter fluid....wont stay running otherwise. any ideas? need the help desperately.

Re: Fuel issue

at the fuel injectors, while cranking check to see if there is a pulse ... also check to see if there is spark... could be a faulty ignition module.. they are notorious to go out all of a sudden...
