Early model has accel cable attaching to a stud on TB linkage; later it wraps around a quadrant .Will interchange but need accel cable to suit TB , not car

So your saying I can use my LT1 TB for my HSR build on my 85 iroc and all I need to do is use a different accel cable? Outside from me having to use a newer style TPS.
