1987 TPI swap
1987 TPI swap
I'm swapping 1987 TPI into my 1988. The 87's wiring harness looks to have all of the engine related stuff in the c207 connector. Whereas my 1988 had several wires from the c100 connector that merged into the engine harness.
I'm using my original harness to my c100 connector, but the 87's engine harness. So what needs to be merged into the 87 harness and where? I know the three large red 10 gauge wires need to go to the battery. The large purple wire to the starter, tan is the oil pressure gauge, green is coolant temp gauge, and white is tach.
Now there are a few wires I'm not sure about. One is a small red wire, it appears to be fuel related, and a larger tan and white wire also appears to be fuel related. Anybody know where these need to go?
Also, there is a pink/black wire that I think was for the air pump, does this need to be connected? I can't seems to find the alternator connnector on the harness either, how do I wire up the voltage gauge?
