Modify 87 TPI base for 84 heads?

Transmission: (2) T56 & (1) 700R4
Axle/Gears: Moser 12-bolt w/3.73 & Stock
Modify 87 TPI base for 84 heads?
I've talked my daughter into converting her 84 T/A to FI. I'm supposed to pick up a TPI system from an 87 IROC this weekend. Most sites say I need a non-roller block base (85, 86 F-body or aluminum head Corvette). I've seen some hints that the center mounting holes can be modified. What about the EGR passages? Which base gasket would I use?

You just slot the the two center holes in the F-Body intake to suit the different bolt angle used on the regular SBC heads.Might need a washer under bolt head
Intake gasket is the same; only the angle of the center bolts differs .

Thanks, I should have checked Rock Auto to see same gasket used.
