Quick question in case anyone knows
So, my formerly rusty, basket case '91 Formula is up and running. However, there are many hackish things the P.O. did that I'm still trying to put right. Today, while installing new cap, rotor, plugs and wires (fun times!), I noticed what appears to be a vacuum fitting with no vacuum hose attached to it. I can probably dig through the manual and try to figure it out, but I was wondering, does anyone know what goes here, and where it should lead?
(I realize the picture is of a Corvette motor, but it gives the general idea--it's the same fitting)

Actually, it does have a purpose guys. Ive seen many pictures of that bolt. It has a long skinny shaft or elongated clamp that sticks out. That skinny shaft or clamp is used to hold down the acc. cable/cruise control cable to prevent it from rubbing up agianst the underside of the hood.
