i currently have a 86 z28 that has no motor or trans but it still have the wiring harness intact. I saw an ad for a 89 tpi setup that came out a vette. Can i use my harness or do i have to get a harness/ECM/prom from the vette.

 

Depends. if your harness in your car is set up for tpi then i dont see y you couldnt. if not best thing to do is find a harness for your year car and swap harnesses. you can tell if its a tpi harness by the amount of connectors. you would have 8 connectors that all look the same that plug into the injectors. i think there are threads that talk about making a tbi harness into tpi but it would be easier to find a tpi harness and swap it out. hope this helps. also keep in mind the fuel rails are different between vetts and camaros. fuel lines are on different sides so you would also have to swap fuel rails or reroute fuel lines to pass. side
