mystery connectors?

mystery connectors?

looking around my engine bay today, trying to find a source of bad wiring for the temp gauge, or just in general to cause the car to act up, i noticed a couple unconnected connectors right in line with the fuel injectors.

That's for the air switch valve, someone removed it and most likely the air pump too. normally there's a black "box" cover over the valve where this plugs in:

ah ok. cool. it doesn't affect the car if they removed it? that's the air pump for emissions control right?

the pump is right in front of it, this controls whether the air is pumped to the headers or the cat con.

It won't affect the car, it will affect emissions.
