High Idle while cruising

Transmission: 700-R4
Axle/Gears: OSD 10 bolt/ 3.42
High Idle while cruising
Today i got on the highway(I-95) for the 1st time since ive had the car. The speed limit was 65 and 70 so i was ranging anywhere between 66 and 75.
My rpm's stayed right up around 4000 - 4800 rpm while cruising.
This seems like it is to high of a cruising rpm, so what should i fix to bring it down while on the highway.
