Car won't idle, fuel pressure problem?
The car won't idle when it first starts up unless you keep giving it gas for awhile. It also has NO power and bogs down when you hit the gas. I put a fuel pressure gauge on the schrader valve and turned the key on, it reads about 45psi and stays there. When I start the car the pressure drops to about 30psi and the car starts to die. As soon as you so much as tap the gas it jumps back up to 45psi and stays there for a few seconds, then drops and starts to die again. Engine is an 86 lb9, stock except for headers and exhaust. Any idea what's going on?

Well I seem to have fixed the idle problem. It turns out the wire that plugs into the top of the alternator was shorting out at the connector. I cleaned the connector and the plug on the alternator and now it starts and idles fine with the fuel pressure at 40psi.
However it still feels like its low on power when you drive it, and it started throwing code 36 (maf burnoff relay). This car is driving me nuts, everytime I fix one thing another goes bad.
