Engine: L98 with minor mods.
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
fuel presure question
I have a 92 gta 5.7 L98. I wanted to check the fuel presure, but I don't know what the presure reading should be? What is the best setting for this TPI motor? Also do I have to unhook the vac. line while setting it. I know I will have to get a adjustable fpr. to change it. I just want to know the presure setting and if you need to unhook the vac line from the fpr.

Check the fp with the engine at idle and vacuum unplugged (cap off the vacuum on the plenum). It should be 42 (I believe, do a search to confirm).
