hello i have an 87 trasn am with a 350 tpi engine, the car starts up good but after i drive it for a couple of minutes the check engine turns on and the car begins to choke i push the gas all the way down and it doesnt get speed right away after 2 seconds. if i do a turn or stop the car turns off, i took it to the mechanic and the maf and idle were badd so he fixed that, after i picked it up and drived it back home the same problem happend so i took it back to him. do any of you guys what the problem would be??

I'd say run diagnostic and see what code it could be throwing. It sounds like to me like fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator. check your fuel pressure and see what its at. I think idle the pressure should be between 40-45. I'd say to check the fuel system first!
