weird issues 86 camaro
hi ive been working on a 86 maro and i keep getting the code for the mass air flow sensor i put a new one as well as the two relays on the firewall the afterburn one and the other one(not the fuel pump one) also the idle either goes up to like 1500 to 2000 rpms and some other times it will die whenever i get to a stop or on right hand turns only not on left turns replaced IAC unit but didnt fix it any help greatly apreciated thanks 86 camaro with 700r4

There might be a problem with the MAF connector or wiring. Also, the replacement sensor could be bad. If you don't have a scan tool you can disconnect the negative battery cable to reset the ECM, then see if the SES light comes back on. If so, what DTC's are showing?
For the idle and stalling problem, the TPS might need adjustment. It should be .54v at idle then progress to +4.00v at WOT. Or the problem could be a vacuum leak. Did you reset the 'minimun air setting' when you changed the IAC?
