Stalling?

Ok so i know theres quite a few threads about their cars stalling and dying but mines a lil different. It doesnt matter how fast im going or wut im doing but at random when im slowing down to a stop light or stop sign or slowing down period the car will just stall out? But i can immediatly put it in nuetral or park and will start right back up no problem? ive heard possibly the EGR. it gets to be real annoying anyone have any ideas?

Re: Stalling?

I had this exact same problem with my 88 LB9 and it was a bad IAC Idle Air Control valve.

Re: Stalling?

The IAC valve screws into the throttle body and has a 4 wire connector. I think Auto Zone sells it for around $40.

Before you replace it you might be able to just clean it and reset the "minimum air setting". On this site under technical articles there is a good write-up on setting minimum air setting.
