any way had this issue on my 88 rs camaro i had but wasnt as bad on my 87 tpi z28 when filling with gas the pump clicks off like it does if the gas tanks full and will do it like every 60 cents lol anoyying someone times it spits up some fuel no sure if theres a breather someone that might be blocked any advice?

There is a hose from the sending unit that ends at a bracket near the rear axle. At the end of that hose is a white check valve that allows air in as fuel level changes.

Check it by blowing into it. If you can't then it is bad.

are we talking on the driver side of the rear axle? if so i think i have seen it before when i was under the car doing a break line

Yes, its on the driver side.
