i have a speed denisty system, the last few months the system stumbles so put a system analizer on it to see what was going on. as im driving and sometimes when i just try to start the car, the analizer reads that the system is not responding.. I have changed the ECM three times and it still is stumbling with a system not responding readout.. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM..??

 

Faulty wiring / connections from ALDL connector to ECM maybe ?
What happens when you use the paperclip method ?

 

get nothing , does not give a code or a 12 code

 

So as I said above , problem may be with wiring to ECM ( or the ALDL ground )
Check for ground on Terminal A of ALDL plug

Need to check for continuity on the ALDL wire to the ECM
Pull up the wiring diagram for your car to identify the correct wire at the ECM plug
