Advise on my 406 fuel injection
Hi ,Im building a 406 for my 89 Iroc.Plan on using a Wieland stealth ram.Im wondering what size injectors would be good for this build.I already have 24lb injectors but think that they may not be enough to feed the engine.Heres a list of what Im doing.10:5.1 cr rotating assembly forged, howards cam with I 294 E 302 234/242 @ .050 dur. with .533 .542 lift, retro roller block.Havent pick the heads yet.Anyway I think this engine should put out close to 500 hp.Any advise on the injector size or build at all will be appreciated. This is my first build.Thanx

My Ls1 Corvette has 488 flywheel hp. I have been running the 28'ish lb injectors and having no trouble at all. I would say 28 - 30 lb would be fine.

I bought 30lb for my 406 and it's much milder than than yours. DO a google search for "EFI injector calculator", see for yourself. There's plenty of them out there.
You're going to need some nice heads to get 500 out of that cam. Look at the latest AFR 195 or 210. They're good.

30-36 should do it with room to spare, depending on what pressure you run
