Any sugestions on 305 cam?
Ok guys so I was looking at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CR...e%7c5.0L%2f305 and was wondering if I could use this cam on my unmodified stock 305 motor? (I dont know anything about cams or cam swaps
)If not what would I have to do to the 305 to make it work? (Engine swap is out of the question)Anyway here are the specs for the cam: crane cam .454 lift 272 duration
Its a 91' 305 TPI bone stock with a roller cam (edit)

The minimum information that we will need to help you is what year engine and what kind of intake system you have.

agreed with above. I replaced my cam. Never replaced the lifters. I had a roller cam.
Roller or non-roller is the 1st question.
I installed the crane 2032 cam # 104224
I also bought new springs. I kept my stock lifters.
