TPI Trouble!

Ok I have a TPI out of a 92 corvette ( speed Density). Put this system on a rebuilt 355 chevy. Tucked all of this into a 1959 Chevy napco pickup. Have had problems like crazy...Being a owner of a 88 Iroc with mas airflow I thought this would be a peice of cake.

Motor runs rough. runs extremly hot on one cylinder. we think that we need a different Prom. but cant seem to find a V8 prom for a 92 tpi, and i guess you cant reburn a 6 cly chip.

Tips and advise will be greatly appricated other wise this thing is hitting the road>

Re: TPI Trouble!

If you got the ecm and engine from a '92 'Vette, it is an LT-1, not TPI...the prom that was in it should be fine. One cylinder running hot is weird...could be a weak/bad injector or vacuum leak on that cylinder. Make sure the MAP sensor is hooked up. Recheck the spark plug wires.
