another tbi to tpi question

i have a 91 tbi 5 spd. and debating if i want to put in a 92 tpi speed density tpi including the harness and correct ecm. i have read previous posts, stickies, and the write up on the conversion in the tech articles. i may have missed it or did not understand, so i have a couple of questions:

1. the motor was replaced with a new one bought from advance auto parts about 8 years ago. ive only put about 5000 since it was replaced, being a weekend car, not a daily driver. it has the centerbolt heads. this would not make a diffrence correct?

2. being that im using a factory harness, is there any repining to be done when pluging into the block in on the driverside connector on the firewall? or is it it all plug and play, with tuning?

i already have smog and a/c delete, headers ad open exaust going to a flowmaster out back. im running the single fan. the cars has been lowered, suspensions been built up and the rear end has been replaced with a posi disc with 4.10 gears.

im aware of the minimal gains and that the conversion is a lot of work to do. with an lt1 cam, heads, etc. there can be a increase in hp. the same can be accomplished with a tbi. im debating to which one i want to do.

im just not sure with the motor replaced and the harness.
