need help with an empty hose connection

just got an 89 trans, and the guy before me left it a mess for me. while i was inspecting a chopped hose coming from the evap can, i cane across an empty gooseneck that is directly under my intake hose, right where it connects to the manifold.

can anyone tell me what goes here?

and if anyone can tell me where the large hose from the evap can goes, that would be extremely helpful.

Used to have coolant running through it to heat TB ; commonly deleted (called TB bypass ) to prevent leaks.
Look on pass side of TB , should be a similar empty spigot there as well
