Hey, just digging into some summer time problems we had with this IROC.
It had a shake to the idle, stalled randomly, and never ran that great..
So, we dug into the intake, it's a show car, and we wanted to clean it up anyway..
So, My first question is.... Can I buy another EGR temp sensor.. If so, where?

Second, the EGR valve was seized shut, I took me using a screwdriver and some force to open it back up. I will be replacing it

and Third, can we delete the cold start injector?

I'm not an expert on them but I'll give you my opinions:

I would imagine most auto parts stores would carry an EGR sensor. It could affect fuel mixture and idle if not working

Replace the EGR valve. CPU is calibrated to look for it, and will give errors if it doesn't get the feedback it's expecting. It will also affect idle as well as emissions and fuel economy at cruising speeds.

Cold start injector can be eliminated, but it provides a richer charge for immediate start and better idle, especially in colder climates.

Let us know how it works out.

The EGR temp sensor for the TPI is no longer available unless you find one on a shelf in an auto store.

I tried to get one last year from a NAPA store and they gave me the bad news about the EGR sensor.

you can delete the cold start injector just disconnect it and either retune your chip to compensate fuel wise when cold or change the chip to and 89
