Adjustable fuel pressure regulator?? w/ pics
I bought an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and new injectors, I put it on my TPI set up yesterday. My question is, How do you gain access to it to adjust the pressure once you have the plenum back on??

You fiddle with a wrench from the side.

I have one similar. i think mine is BBK. I can get to it from side without too much trouble, 10 mm wrench to loosen lock nut then 8 mm to turn adjusting screw. Not like you're adjusting it daily
Edit: Crap, just realized its a phillips head screw, crazyness, replace with cap screw. ugh.

If it's not a holley adjustable, then you will need to tighten the adjustment screw all the way down first in order to get the plenum back on. It is going to be a tight fit. Then before you start it, don't forget to loosen the bolt all the way. It should almost touch the bottom of the plenum. You will need a small wrench and turn the bolt by hand from the passengers side through the runners. The holley is much easier and a lower profile than all the others. That is why it is so much easier to use.

if possible id just ditch that one. gut tat regulator or whatever that is(not familiar with tpi) and run an inline pressure regulator if you can. much more accessible and you can mount it wherever.

The problem with that FPR is the phillps screw that is used for adjustment. Its impossible to adjust with the upper plentum on, no way to get a screw driver of any size in there. The only alternative would be to swap the fillips screw out with a hex screw, and that should make it possible to adjust from the side with a wrench.

TPIS adjustable regulator here and no issues adjusting it with the upper plenum on. If anyone gets a TPIS one though just make sure to take the vacuum line fitting off the side of it...locktite the crap out if it and put it back on. I guess there is a problem with them backing out over time. I did it with mine and zero problems 4 years later.

The Holley one is really nice. I can adjust it easily with the engine running, just stick 2 fingers in and turn it wherever you want.
