help buying tpi 350

i dont know if i am at the right place to post this but i need some help or more like advice im on a search to buy my 68 firebird a new engine and i came across a 89 350 tpi all polished with aluminam head and nicely painted with wiring harness and ecm for 5k but i dont know if its nicely build or the justed polished it and pained it? how do you guy feel about that price and the owner told me that it would put out something like 350 hp? any ideas or advice would be gratly welcomed!

5K sounds like way too much money for a TPI unless everything is brand new with receipts

You can buy a TPI ECM for under $150 ( usually closer to $75 ) , a brand new engine harness for under $300 and a TPI intake on here for $150
