305 tpi to vortec 350, keeping tpi now what?

Pulling '92 305 tpi and installing a rebuilt '99 vortec 350 ( bored 20 over/stock cam ) Going to use the vortec heads with the edelbrock tpi/vortec intake and slp runners. These are the parts I already have, not looking to blow the hood off the car just a little more than what I had before. My questions are
What should I set my timing at?
What size injectors should I use?
Will a stock 350 tpi computer work?
What aftermarket dist. / coil is good?
Any tips to make this work out smoothly?
Thanks

I`d start setting the timing at the stock setting 6* btdc IIRC.It should be on a sticker under the hood. You are really just replacing the heads and intake here.Although the block is a little different its not gonna change performance per say.It may be a little tougher with 4 bolt main and all but it shouldnt affect performance really.
The stock computer will be fine, but you will need a custom chip/prom made because of more air and fuel. You will need atleast the stock 350 injectors which are 22#/hr.The 305s are 19#/hr.24#ers would prolly be better and about the same cost.
Your stock HEI distributor, coil and entire ignition system will work just fine.
I gotta say it,but id atleast put a mild cam in it while the engines out.Youll thank yourself later,I promise. But nothing over .480 lift on stock vortecs. That will be a pretty good combo. You may want to consider some porting to that SD base. They`re known for flowing as bad as stock lower manifold right out of the box. While you`re at it do the plenum and runners as well. There are people you can send your intake to if you dont want to try it yourself.
