TPI Block Sensor?
On the driver's side of the block on my 1987 TPI V-8 there is a sensor that looks like the Knock Sensor of the passenger's side (it takes the same kind of connector as the Knock Sensor). It is down low, toward the rear of the block. Someone has rewired this sensor, and I can't seem to find it in my GM Electrical Manual. What is this sensor for?

Re: TPI Block Sensor?
Im not sure if this is what you are asking but my 305 knock sensor was on the passenger side down low. My 90 5.7 engine has the knock sensor on the driver side. I had to lengthen the wires to make it reach.

This is a 305 engine, would there be dual knock sensors on this engine?
