Super-Ram build
I got my AFR 180 heads from Summit today. They will be going on with the following:
Camshaft CC 304-8
24/lbs injectors
ported Big Mouth base
Ported Super-Ram
52mm TB
I will be putting some pics up of the install.

Re: Super-Ram build
That is a real mild cam, for your setup. You could get much more power with a more aggressive cam. That grind is similar with an even less aggressive LSA to the cam I have with stock heads.
Nice setup though, id just love to see it with a more hotter cam.

It's the same cam that GM High Tech Performance used on Something Old Something New. I Know that there are more aggresive cams. They made 416 hp @5000 rpm with Vortec Heads and the LTR setup. http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...ck/page_3.html Plus I got the cam for $100, If it's too mild I can always swap it out later.

The old heads are off and the new cam is in. I hope to have it all finished by the end of the week.

Re: Super-Ram build
that really is a small cam for what you have specially with a ported super ram? Im confused is another 150 dollers really worth all the time its gonna take to swap it? You have to tune it either way. You can always sell that that cam on here. ! I'll be running a 221/230 114 cam and that is alil smaller then i wanted, but to me its not worth it to put a smaller cam in and then have to do it again.

Re: Super-Ram build
I am moving soon due to work and I need to get it running soon. My intention is to pull the motor after I get moved and do a proper rebuild of the short-block. I can then put in a larger cam. I already know this cam is capable of making over 400hp at the flywheel and with my 2.77 gear that duration should keep the motor happy at low rpm's, but we will see.
